5 Day Primary Residentials to Shortenills Environmental Education Centre

We invite schools to consider Shortenills. based in Chalfont St Giles in South Buckinghamshire for an eco-friendly residential experience.

Set within 10 acres of amazing woods and grassland with meadows and ponds, Shortenills offers a safe and secure location for pupils to become avid and knowledgable nature explorers and budding environmentalists. Shortenills has provided thousands of primary children with a wide range of learning opportunities over the past 50 years. Our programmes will increase awareness and appreciation of the natural world and the benefits and methods of sustainable lifestyles and ecological processes. This acts as a springboard for further work and curriculum development back in school.

The content of the 5 day residential programme will be tailored to complement and extend your curriculum and to provide pupils with some wonderful, lifelong memories of their Shortenills experience.
